5-Minute Breathing

Five minutes is the default length on most timers here. Choose a pattern, start a five-minute session, leave when you are done.

Why 5 minutes

Most technique pages default to five minutes. This landing groups calm, even patterns for that length: box breathing, coherent breathing (5-5), equal breathing, and relaxation breathing (4-2-6). Use the session calculator if you want cycle counts before you start. Shorter? Try 2-minute breathing. Longer evening sets: 10-minute breathing.

When people use it

Five minutes is a common everyday session — not a course. People use it for a structured pause mid-day or after work. For sport-specific sets, see the sport hub. For sleep presentation, see the sleep hub.
