Who operates this site

This site is operated by the operator of breathinglab.app. For privacy questions, email yanchi@yanchi.space.

What we do not collect

breathinglab.app has no user accounts and no server-side database of breathing sessions. You do not create an account. Preferences can stay in this browser so the timer remembers your last setup. Technique pages do not collect names, email addresses, or health data. If you use the contact form, Fillout processes that message and delivers it to the operator.

What stays on your device

The site uses your browser’s localStorage to remember:

• preferred session duration for each technique
• sound mode, volume, and tone
• whether haptics are on
• your custom breathing pattern
• the last exercise you opened
• your cookie-banner choice (accept or reject)

That information stays in your browser. We do not read it from a server. Clearing site data in your browser deletes it. We do not store phase timings or a breathing history in the cloud.

Contact form

The contact page embeds a form hosted by Fillout. Fillout receives the contents of the form, the technical data needed to serve the embed, and an email address if you include one. We use that submission to read your feedback and, if you left an email, to reply. breathinglab.app has no account database of contact messages.

You can email yanchi@yanchi.space instead of using the form. To ask for a contact message to be erased, use that same address. Fillout’s own policy is at www.fillout.com/privacy.

Analytics and advertising

If you accept optional cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and whether people start, pause, or finish a timer. Those events do not include phase durations, custom pattern values, or anything that reconstructs a personal routine. Google LLC processes that measurement data.

Advertising slots exist in the page layout so the site can be reviewed later. Google AdSense is not loaded at launch. Advertising storage, including ad_storage, stays denied even if you accept analytics. If ads go live, this page and the cookie policy will be updated first, and advertising consent will be asked for separately.

Legal bases and EU visitors

Device-side preferences are stored because they are necessary for the timer to remember duration, sound, haptics, your custom pattern, and your cookie choice. The contact form is processed by Fillout so we can read the message you send. Google Analytics runs only if you accept optional cookies. You can change that choice on the cookie policy page. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK and want device data erased, clear this site’s data in your browser, or email yanchi@yanchi.space.

Third parties

The site is hosted by a web host. The host may process technical logs such as IP addresses as part of serving pages, according to that host’s own policy. If you send a contact message, Fillout processes that submission. If you accept analytics, Google processes measurement data under Google’s terms. We do not sell personal information. We do not have a customer database to sell.

Changes

If the site starts using advertising, we will update this page and the cookie policy first.
