Breathing for Focus
A short numbered reset, then back to the task. Not a productivity course.
This set
Focus here means a brief, structured cycle you can finish before a meeting, a set of intervals, or the next block of work. The start button is 2-minute focus breathing: the same 4-4-4-4 counts as box, a block visual, and a two-minute default. Box breathing is the five-minute square-orbit version of those counts. Triangle breathing drops the second hold. The physiological sigh is a double inhale and long exhale when you want one sharp reset instead of equal sides. This is not the full tool directory — only the short-reset cluster.
Timers
How to choose
- Press Start on the two-minute focus timer for a default tactical reset.
- Use box breathing if you want the square visual and a longer default.
- Use triangle if equal holds without a second hold feel simpler.
- Use the physiological sigh when you want a double inhale, not four equal sides.
When people use it
People use these before work, before a warmup, or between tasks. It is a timer with a short default, not a concentration treatment. Going for a run next? See the sport hub and pre-run breathing.
FAQ
What is the focus timer on this site?

Is this the same as box breathing?
Same phase lengths at the default. Different visual, different session length, different page. Pick the one you will actually start.
